The Anselmo-Merna Coyotes football team (Merna, NE), was ripped 46-14 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Mullen Broncos (Mullen, NE)

The Broncos (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Leyton (Dalton, NE). The Warriors come into the D2 District 9 (8 Man) challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Leyton was ripped by South Loup (Arnold, NE), 50-6, in a league challenge.

The Coyotes now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sandhills/Thedford for a D2 District 9 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 30. Anselmo-Merna will meet a Knights team coming off a 60-8 league win over Hyannis (Hyannis, NE). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
