In Thursday's non-league match, the host Pyramid Lake Lakers football squad scored a good 48-38 victory over the Carlin Railroaders.

In their next game, the Lakers clash with the Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV) in a 1A West (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 30. Pyramid Lake will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 54-26 non-league loss to Smith Valley (Smith, NV).

The Railroaders (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Wells (Wells, NV). The Leopards enter the 1A East (8 Man) match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Wells dropped by Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV), 49-22, in a non-league match.
