Texas High School Football - George Ranch nips Fort Bend Travis

The George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX) football nudged the host Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX), 24-21 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 bout, on Friday, September 30. George Ranch will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 56-7 league win over Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Knights enter the 6A Region III District 20 bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Fort Bend Elkins held off Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX), 21-6, in a league bout.
