The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM), observed Highland's football squad defeat Hope Christian by a count of 28-0.

The Hornets now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Manzano for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 1. Highland will encounter a Monarchs squad coming off a 49-14 non-league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 0-5.

Coming up next, the Huskies encounter the New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM) in a 3A District 4 match, on Saturday, October 1. Hope Christian will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Colts enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 38-0 non-league loss to Loving (Loving, NM).
