With the win, Lake Creek upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Lions host Montgomery (Montgomery, TX) to encounter the Bears in a 5A-2 Region III District 10 outing on Friday, September 30. The Bears go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Montgomery won 28-21 in their recent league outing against Huntsville (Huntsville, TX)

With the loss, Randle moves to 2-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Brenham (Brenham, TX) to encounter the Cubs in a 5A-2 Region III District 10 outing on Friday, September 30. The Cubs go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Brenham lost 40-20 in their recent non-league outing against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX)
