The New Covenant Gryphons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Timberlake Christian Tornadoes to 1 in the Gryphons non-league victory on Thursday.

The Gryphons now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwest Virginia Academy for a game on Thursday, October 6.

The Tornadoes (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA). The Bulldogs enter the game with a 3-5 record.
