With the victory, Linsly moves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Cadets host Tyler (Sistersville, WV) to battle the Knights in a Ohio Valley Athletic Conference bout on Saturday, September 24. The Knights enter the bout with a record of 0-6. Tyler lost 9-1 in their recent non-league bout against Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV)

In their next game, the Bruins battle the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV) in a Big Ten bout, on Saturday, October 1. Brooke will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record.
