Seattle Academy Cardinals (Seattle, WA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals face the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 23. Seattle Academy will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Storm enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 4-3 league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA).

The Falcons now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bush for a 1A Emerald Sound challenge on Wednesday, September 28. South Whidbey will face a Blazers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to La Center (La Center, WA). The Blazers record now stands at 1-3.
