In Thursday's non-league match, the host Mitchell Mountaineers football squad scored a big 74-36 victory over the Madison Patriots.
In their next game, the Mountaineers clash with the Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 29. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
