The Foard Tigers topped the visiting Alexander Central Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Lincoln for a non-league test on Monday, September 26. Foard will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Knights record now stands at 13-2.
The Cougars (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers enter the test with a 2-4 record.
