Archbishop Alter Knights (Kettering, OH) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Bellbrook Golden Eagles (Bellbrook, OH), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights face the Indian Hill Braves (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 24. Archbishop Alter will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 4-0 league win over Madeira (Cincinnati, OH).
The Golden Eagles now have a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Waynesville for a Southwestern Buckeye - East challenge on Thursday, September 29. Bellbrook will face a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Oakwood (Dayton, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 4-5.
