Nebraska High School Softball - Polk County bounces Blue River

Spectators at Thursday's non-league test between the Polk County Slammers (Stromsburg, NE) and the host Blue River (David City, NE), saw Polk County's softball team knock off Blue River by a score of 11-3.

Coming up next, the Slammers encounter the Holdrege-Adams Central Storm (Holdrege, NE) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 24. Polk County will attempt to improve on its 18-8 season record.

The (16-9) will now prepare for their test against Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan (Geneva, NE). The enter the C District 5 test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan prevailed over Minden (Minden, NE), 12-0, in a non-league test.
