Nebraska High School Volleyball - Ainsworth edged by Burwell

The Burwell Longhorns held off the visiting Ainsworth Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Longhorns now have a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arcadia/Loup City for a C2 District 9 test on Tuesday, September 27. Burwell will confront a Rebels team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Gibbon (Gibbon, NE). The Rebels record now stands at 1-13.

The Bulldogs (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Bridgeport held off Hemingford (Hemingford, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.
