The Sandburg Eagles held off the host Andrew Thunderbolts volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Eagles now have a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln-Way Central for a SouthWest Suburban test on Tuesday, September 27. Sandburg will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Knights record now stands at 14-4.

The Thunderbolts (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Raiders enter the SouthWest Suburban test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Bolingbrook held off Stagg (Palos Hills, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
