In Thursday's non-league contest, the Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) volleyball squad edged the visiting Atchison County Tigers (Effingham, KS), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Chargers battle the Valley Falls Dragons (Valley Falls, KS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 22. Santa Fe Trail will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Dragons come into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 2-1 league loss to Jackson Heights (Holton, KS).

With the loss, Atchison County drops to 8-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS) to battle the Dragons in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 22.
