The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] Wildcats (Leeds, ND) and the visiting St. John Woodchucks (St. John, ND), saw Benson County [Leeds/Maddock]'s volleyball squad beat St. John by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Larimore (Larimore, ND) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Woodchucks now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Velva for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 24. St. John will play a Aggies squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Towner-Granville-Upham (Towner, ND). The Aggies record now stands at 4-6.
