The Monticello Panthers topped the visiting Camanche Indians volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Panthers now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maquoketa for a non-league test on Thursday, September 29. Monticello will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-3.
The Indians (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Northeast (Goose Lake, IA). The Rebels enter the River Valley North test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Northeast gained a win over Anamosa (Anamosa, IA), 3-1, in a league test.
