Virginia High School Volleyball - Chincoteague overwhelmed by Greenbrier Christian Academy

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Chincoteague Ponies.
The Gators (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA). The Seahawks come into the VISAA Division 2 battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Atlantic Shores Christian achieved victory over Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Ponies encounter the Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) in a Eastern Shore battle, on Tuesday, September 27. Chincoteague will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Firebirds come into the battle with a 2-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Denbigh Baptist Christian (Newport News, VA).
