With the win, Greater Miami Academy upgrades its record to 2-5 on the year. The Warriors host Avant Garde Academy (Hollywood, FL) to play the Sharks in a non-league bout on Monday, September 26. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 4-4.

The Cougars now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Horeb Christian for a 2A District 15 bout on Tuesday, September 27. Cushman will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Academy for Innovative Education (Miami Springs, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-9.
