Colorado High School Volleyball - Gilpin County over Union Colony Prep

In Thursday's league contest, the Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Union Colony Prep Timberwolves (Greeley, CO), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Clear Creek Golddiggers (Evergreen, CO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 26. Gilpin County will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Golddiggers come into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Denver Christian (Denver, CO).

With the loss, Union Colony Prep drops to 4-7 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Dayspring Christian Academy (Greeley, CO) to battle the Eagles in a 2A/1A Mile High contest on Tuesday, September 27. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 6-8. Dayspring Christian Academy won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Soroco (Oak Creek, CO)
