The Holyoke Purple Knights (Holyoke, MA) volleyball nudged the host Monument Mountain Spartans (Great Barrington, MA), 3-2 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Holyoke upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Purple Knights host Smith Vo-Tech (Northampton, MA) to face the Vikings in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 27. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 4-2.

The Spartans now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ware for a Pioneer Valley - Central outing on Wednesday, September 28.
