Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 24. Meridian will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Turks come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Tyee (SeaTac, WA).

With the loss, Mt. Baker drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA) to battle the Lyncs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Monday, September 26. The Lyncs come into the match with a record of 6-2. Lynden Christian won 3-2 in their recent league match against Blaine (Blaine, WA)
