The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA) and the host Paideia Pythons (Atlanta, GA), saw Midtown's volleyball squad beat Paideia by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Midtown upgrades its record to 15-9 on the year. The Knights host Banneker (College Park, GA) to play the Trojans in a 5A Area 5 bout on Tuesday, September 27. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Banneker won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against South Atlanta (Atlanta, GA)

The Pythons now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Atlanta Classical Academy for a 1A Area 6 bout on Tuesday, September 27.
