The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) and the host Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA), saw Upson-Lee's volleyball squad nip Spalding by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Upson-Lee upgrades its record to 10-23 on the year. The Knights travel to Pike County (Zebulon, GA) to play the Pirates in a 3A Area 2 bout on Thursday, September 22. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Pike County lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Jackson (Jackson, GA)

The Jaguars now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Ola for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 29.
