The Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns football team (Hawley, PA), was tipped 35-28 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA)
The Comets (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley View (Archbald, PA). The Cougars come into the Lackawanna 1 challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Valley View nipped Pittston (Pittston, PA), 41-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Buckhorns now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Scranton Prep for a Lackawanna 1 challenge on Friday, September 29. Wallenpaupack Area will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 31-27 league loss to Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-1.
