Nebraska High School Football - Anselmo-Merna defeats Mullen

September 22, 2023: Mullen, NE 69152

In Friday's league match, the visiting Anselmo-Merna Coyotes football squad scored a good 42-24 victory over the Mullen Broncos.

In their next game, the Coyotes clash with the Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) in a D2 District 9 (8 Man) match, on Thursday, September 28. Anselmo-Merna will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 68-6 league win over Hyannis (Hyannis, NE).

The Broncos (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Leyton (Dalton, NE). The Warriors enter the D2 District 9 (8 Man) match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Leyton dropped by South Loup (Arnold, NE), 56-6, in a league match.
