    The Hawley Bearcats walloped the visiting Anson Tigers football team by a count of 45-0 in Friday's league outing.

    With the win, Hawley upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Colorado (Colorado City, TX) to encounter the Wolves in a 2A-1 Region I District 4 outing on Thursday, October 5. The Wolves go into the outing with a record of 1-4.
