In Friday's league game, the Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) football team knocked off the host Gaylesville Trojans (Gaylesville, AL), by a final score of 39-12.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL). The Eagles come into the 1A Region 7 game with a 4-1 record.
