The Bangs Dragons football team (Bangs, TX), was beaten 40-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting De Leon Bearcats (De Leon, TX)
The Bearcats (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Goldthwaite (Goldthwaite, TX). The Eagles come into the 2A-1 Region II District 5 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Goldthwaite was beaten by Coleman (Coleman, TX), 46-33, in a league challenge.
