The Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI) football edged the visiting Benton Harbor Tigers (Benton Harbor, MI), 27-26 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Chieftains face the Brandywine Bobcats (Niles, MI) in a Lakeland bout, on Friday, September 29. Dowagiac will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 20-16 league loss to Buchanan (Buchanan, MI).
