The Berry Wildcats football team (Berry, AL), was beaten 54-27 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL)
The Red Raiders (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayette County (Fayette, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Fayette County achieved victory over Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL), 40-0, in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lamar County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 29. Berry will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-35 league win over Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.
