In Friday's league game, the Brock Eagles (Brock, TX) football team smashed the host Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX), by a final score of 78-0.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Peaster (Peaster, TX). The Greyhounds come into the 3A-1 Region I District 4 game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Peaster was trounced by Wall (Wall, TX), 42-0, in a non-league game.

The Yellowjackets now hold a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitesboro for a 3A-1 Region I District 4 game on Friday, September 29. Boyd will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 41-21 league win over Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-3.
