Pennsylvania High School Football - Washington overwhelms Brentwood

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Washington Prexies (Washington, PA) and the visiting Brentwood Spartans (Pittsburgh, PA), observed Washington's football squad bounce Brentwood by a count of 47-6.

The Prexies now own a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Waynesburg Central for a WPIAL AA Century contest on Friday, September 29. Washington will play a Raiders squad coming off a 26-7 league loss to McGuffey (Claysville, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 29. Brentwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 28-16 league loss to West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA).
