In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Messalonskee Eagles football squad scored a big 51-0 victory over the Brewer Witches.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME) in a B North match, on Friday, September 29. Messalonskee will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The River Hawks enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 18-13 league win over Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME).
The Witches (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Oceanside (Rockland, ME). The Mariners enter the C North match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Oceanside routed Nokomis (Newport, ME), 42-0, in a league match.
