The Brownsboro Bears football team (Brownsboro, TX), was beaten 28-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Van Vandals (Van, TX)

The Vandals (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Canton (Canton, TX). The Eagles come into the 4A-2 Region II District 8 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Canton was beaten by Center (Center, TX), 57-37, in a league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carthage for a 4A-2 Region II District 8 challenge on Friday, September 29. Brownsboro will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-14 league win over Bullard (Bullard, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.
