The Wood River Wolverines football team (Hailey, ID), was beaten 29-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Buhl Indians (Buhl, ID)

The Indians (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gooding (Gooding, ID). The Senators come into the 3A Sawtooth Central Idaho challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Gooding was beaten by Declo (Declo, ID), 50-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jerome for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 29. Wood River will meet a Tigers team coming off a 20-12 league loss to Canyon Ridge (Twin Falls, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
