The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Elm Creek Buffaloes (Elm Creek, NE) and the visiting Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE), observed Elm Creek's football squad defeat Burwell by a count of 24-12.

The Buffaloes now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Overton for a D2 District 7 (8 Man) contest on Friday, September 29. Elm Creek will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 54-14 league loss to Central Valley (Greeley, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
