The Sabinal Yellowjackets (Sabinal, TX) football defeated the visiting Charlotte Trojans (Charlotte, TX), 47-21 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Brackett Tigers (Brackettville, TX) in a 2A-2 Region IV District 15 bout, on Friday, September 29. Sabinal will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 58-6 league win over La Pryor (La Pryor, TX).
