In Friday's league game, the Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV) football team got by the host Rancho Rams (Las Vegas, NV), by a score of 22-21.

The Desert Shields (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Somerset Academy Losee (North Las Vegas, NV). The Lions come into the 4A Desert game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Somerset Academy Losee nipped Western (Las Vegas, NV), 42-0, in a league game.

The Rams now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centennial for a 4A Desert game on Thursday, September 28. Rancho will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 27-14 league win over Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
