Georgia High School Football - Jenkins County trounces Claxton

September 22, 2023: Claxton, GA 30417

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Jenkins County War Eagles football squad scored a big 50-14 victory over the Claxton Tigers.

In their next game, the War Eagles clash with the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 match, on Friday, October 6. Jenkins County will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record.

The Tigers (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Savannah (Savannah, GA). The Bluejackets go into the A D1 Region 3 outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Savannah was routed by Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA), 21-0, in a non-league outing.
