The Edgewood Crusaders football team (Madison, WI), was ripped 48-8 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, WI)
The Cardinals (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lodi (Lodi, WI). The Blue Devils come into the Capitol challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Lodi trounced Milwaukee Academy of Science (Milwaukee, WI), 44-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Crusaders now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Turner for a Capitol challenge on Friday, September 29. Edgewood will meet a Trojans team coming off a 43-13 league loss to Lakeside Lutheran (Lake Mills, WI). The Trojans record now stands at 0-6.
