Pennsylvania High School Football - Conemaugh Valley topped by Purchase Line

The Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays football team (Johnstown, PA), was beaten 34-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA)

The Red Dragons (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Portage (Portage, PA). The Mustangs come into the Heritage challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Portage was beaten by Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA), 38-14, in a league challenge.

The Blue Jays now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Shamokin for a Heritage challenge on Friday, September 29. Conemaugh Valley will meet a Wolves team coming off a 48-27 league loss to River Valley (Blairsville, PA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-3.
