    The crowd at Friday's league contest between the The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX) and the host Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX), observed The Woodlands's football squad bounce Conroe by a count of 55-2.

    The Highlanders now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Grand Oaks for a 6A Region II District 13 contest on Friday, September 29. The Woodlands will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 62-13 league loss to Willis (Willis, TX). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-4.
