Texas High School Football - Highlands routed by Covenant Classical

September 22, 2023: Irving, TX 75062

The Highlands Blazers football team (Irving, TX), was ripped 68-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Covenant Classical Cavaliers (Fort Worth, TX)

The Cavaliers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX). The Patriots come into the TAPPS Six-Man Division II District 1 (6 Man) challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, San Jacinto Christian Academy was ripped by Borden County (Gail, TX), 72-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Blazers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westlake Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 29. Highlands will meet a Blacksmiths team coming off a 83-36 league win over Johnson County Sports Association (Cleburne, TX). The Blacksmiths record now stands at 1-3.
