Texas High School Football - Monahans overwhelms Denver City

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Monahans Loboes (Monahans, TX) and the visiting Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX), observed Monahans's football squad bounce Denver City by a count of 49-6.

The Loboes now own a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Pecos for a 4A-2 Region I District 1 contest on Friday, October 6.

Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 29. Denver City will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 3-1 record after their 54-14 non-league win over McKinney Christian Academy (McKinney, TX).
