In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Dixie County Bears football squad scored a good 42-14 victory over the Jefferson County Tigers.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Chiefland Indians (Chiefland, FL) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 6. Dixie County will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record.

The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Madison County (Madison, FL). The Cowboys enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Madison County was toppled by Florida State University High School (Tallahassee, FL), 35-23, in a non-league match.
