Texas High School Football - Pflugerville Connally knocked off by Elgin

September 22, 2023: Elgin, TX 78621

Elgin Wildcats (Elgin, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX), 50-28 in a league test.

With the triumph, Elgin improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Belton (Belton, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 5A-2 Region III District 11 test on Friday, September 29. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-0. Belton won 35-19 in their recent league test against Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX)

With the loss, Pflugerville Connally drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Rouse (Leander, TX) to confront the Raiders in a 5A-2 Region III District 11 test on Thursday, September 28. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-1. Rouse won 28-17 in their recent non-league test against Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX)
