In Friday's league match, the host Franklin Academy Cougars football squad scored a big 46-14 victory over the Wilkinson County Christian Academy Rams.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Riverdale Academy Rebels (Coushatta, LA) in a MAIS 8-Man 1A District 3 (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 29. Franklin Academy will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Rebels enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 50-18 non-league win over River Oaks (Monroe, LA).
