Nebraska High School Football - Johnson County Central overwhelms Freeman

September 22, 2023: Adams, NE 68301

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) and the host Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE), observed Johnson County Central's football squad bounce Freeman by a count of 54-14.

The Thunderbirds now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Palmyra for a D1 District 2 (8 Man) contest on Friday, September 29. Johnson County Central will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 68-14 league loss to Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.

The Falcons (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Southern (Wymore, NE). The Raiders enter the D1 District 2 (8 Man) match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Southern was crushed by Thayer Central (Hebron, NE), 56-20, in a league match.
