The Grass Lake Warriors football team (Grass Lake, MI), was beaten 35-26 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Napoleon Pirates (Napoleon, MI)

The Pirates (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Leslie (Leslie, MI). The Blackhawks come into the Cascades - East challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Leslie was beaten by Manchester (Manchester, MI), 55-12, in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Michigan Center for a Cascades - East challenge on Friday, September 29. Grass Lake will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 48-14 league win over East Jackson (Jackson, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-1.
